To use a zip archive, right-click the archive you want to create, or the unzipped file or folder; then choose Archive from the shortcut menu: .tar .go, .TGZ, .TBI,.tbz2, or .TBI.go. To delete the archive, use: rm archive.tar.go .tar.go .tar.go.bz2 .TGZ file.rar file.rar file.tar file.tar.bz2, or file.tar.bz2.by. If your archive contains multiple files or folders, right-click each of the files, or folders, and choose Archive from the shortcut menu, then choose Archive: All or All But Folder: From the drop below all the folders, select the archive you want to keep. When you're finished, double-click the archive to create a new zip-file. A folder called archive will appear. This is how to unzip and extract a file/folder: Open the Finder, go to the folder where you want to save the data you want to extract. Right-click on the folder and choose To unpack to open the file's Folders window. From the Folders window, right-click the extracted data to open it in the Finder.
